Kaleb Lyda, who attends the University of North Carolina on a Morehead scholarship, came out as transgender when he was a junior in high school, after struggling with his identity for many years. In this video, Kaleb and his mom discuss how he broke the news to his parents and how much happier Kaleb is now that he has grown into his identity.
